Dr. Shezra Mansab Ali Khan Kharal is a Pakistani Politician who has been an elected Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since February 2024.Previously she served in this position from March 2015 to May 2018.
Her father, Rai Mansab Ali Khan Kharal, was a seasoned politician and was elected as Member of the National Assembly several times.
Rai Mansab Ali Khan Kharal served the country since 1962. He also served as a Minister of State for Labor,Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis. His literary output is also commendable. He wrote prolifically and fearlessly about current affairs in Naw-e-Waqat, focusing on issues related to the betterment of Pakistan in domestic and Foreign Affairs.
Dr. Shezra Mansab has had a distinguished career, both politically and in public service. She holds a Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Glascow, U.K. She has served as the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Parliamentary Affairs of the National Assembly.She has also served Chairperson of the National Education Foundation, where she has worked tirelessly to improve access to education for out-of-school children. Additionally, she has served as the Chairman of the National Commission for Human Development and has represented Pakistan in various international forums, particularly in relation to Pakistan-China trade and commerce. She has also served as a special envoy on Kashmir and representative of Pakistan to UNESCO.She has served as the President of the Women Youth Wing Punjab and Senior vice President Punjab for PMLN, where she has actively mobilized women in politics and promoted women empowerment.
