Attestation
Embassy of Pakistan in Abidjan attests and legalizes a variety of documents. Requirements for attestation and legalization of documents vary depending upon nationality of the executant and origin of the document. It may kindly be noted that all documents originating from Pakistan first need to be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or one of its Laison Offices in Pakistan prior to attestation/legalization from the Embassy of Pakistan, Abidjan. At the same time, all official/public documents originating from Republic of Cote d’Ivoire, Republic of Guinea Conakry, Republic of Sierra Leone and Republic of Liberia first need to be attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the respective countries. The fee of attestation of documents excluding S Form and Power of Attorney is CFA 7,000/-

Do Embassy provide Machine Readable Passports (MRP), CNIC, NICOP? MRP facilities are not available in the Embassy. MRP Renewal can be applied at https://onlinemrp.dgip.gov.pk/. 
Pakistani Citizens can apply/ renew their CNIC/NICOP through NADRA at https://id.nadra.gov.pk
Welfare Services
The Embassy remains in constant contact with the Pakistani Diaspora living in Republic of Cote d’Ivoire, Republic of Guinea Conakry, Republic of Sierra Leone and Republic of Liberia though different means of communications such as whatsapp, email and E-Katchehries. In addition, welfare services are extending to the destitute on case-to-case basis.
Power of Attorney
Pakistani Community members living in Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea Conakry, Liberia and Sierra Leone are hereby informed that the Online Power of Attorney (PoA) facility is functional in the Embassy to digitally process the Power of Attorney (PoA). Using the system, the Community members can now apply and obtain a PoA from the convenience of their homes, without having to physically visit the Embassy which may be located at a significant distance. It is a fast and secure service facilitating the Overseas Pakistanis, who want to give PoA to any person residing in Pakistan. This system is centrally managed by NADRA in Pakistan and those desirous can apply online as below

Note: - The deponent and two witnesses (Pakistani citizens) must come to the Mission in person with original identity cards, passports, Ivorian Residence Permits / visas and sign in the presence of the consular officer.
