Ambassador Mahmood Akhtar Mahmood held a meeting with Ms. Germain Boni, Editor-in-Chief and Mr. Benoit HILI, Head of Political Service of the Fraternite Matin Newspaper on January 08, 2025. During the meeting, Ambassador briefed the worthy journalists about Pakistan and gave detailed insight on the possible avenues of cooperation between both countries. Ambassador also gave a comprehensive overview of Pakistan’s potential in the field of trade, tourism and development. Ms. Germain Boni thanked the Ambassador for giving the insight of the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Mahmood Akhtar Mahmood held a meeting with Mr. PENE Bi Guime Crepin on 11 September 2025. Mr. PENE Bi Guime Crepin is the Research Director at Private Expert (Poly Tech Agro Expertise) and a lecturer at the STEM school of the International University of Grand-Bassam (IUGB) and at UFR/Geosciences (STRM) at the University Félix Houphouët-Boigny (FHB) in Abidjan. He is also a permanent member of the Ivorian Academy of Sciences, Arts, and Cultures of Africa and African Diasporas (ASCAD). The discussion focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the education sector between Pakistan and Cote d'Ivoire.
