Abidjan Mission

Mr. Umair Anwar, Business Manager Africa, M/S PHARMATEC Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. held a meeting with Ambassador Mahmood Akhtar Mahmood on 23 January 2026. During the meeting, Mr. Umair Anwar gave an overview of the Company’s export potential and expressed interest in expanding business operations. The Ambassador appreciated the Company’s initiative and assured his support for their endeavors in the Ivorian market.

Pakistani community members living in Guinea Conakry and Sierra Leone attended the online meeting. During the E-Katchehri, issues faced by the Pakistani community were discussed.

Ambassador Mahmood Akhtar Mahmood held a meeting with the businessmen engaged in oil and animal feed manufacturing in Cote d’Ivoire, on 23 April 2025. Issues of mutual interest were discussed and the businessmen expressed their keen interest in importing cotton seeds and other raw material from Pakistan. The Ambassador briefed them about Pakistan’s potential in cotton sector and expressed his full support to connect them with the Pakistani suppliers.
