Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs H.E. Mr. Sartaj Aziz called on the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus H.E. Mr. Andrey Kobyakov, today. The Prime Minister of Belarus is on a three-day official visit to Pakistan.

The Adviser express satisfaction at the high level exchanges between the two countries that have resulted in laying a solid foundation and providing requisite legal framework for a lasting and durable relationship, in diverse areas, between the two countries. He also briefed the Premier of the Government’s priorities as well as the Prime Minister’s vision of a peaceful neighborhood. The Belarusian Prime Minister was also apprised of the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan in the war against terrorism and successes achieved in the Operation Zarb-e-Azb.

The Prime Minister of Belarus said that we are committed to develop multifaceted relationship with Pakistan with special focus on trade and investment ties. He expressed hope that the bilateral relationship of Pakistan and Belarus would benefit the peoples of the two countries.
