Relations between Pakistan and Türkiye have historically been marked by exceptional warmth, deeply rooted in shared religious, cultural, and linguistic ties.
The founding fathers of both nations had great respect and love for each other's vision and resilience, which continue to guide the coming generations and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood between the two nations.
The establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Türkiye on 30 September 1947 represented a continuation of this historical solidarity—often encapsulated in expressions such as "heart-to-heart relations" and "two countries, one nation."

Today, this fraternal partnership spans multiple sectors, including diplomacy, defence, economy, technology, energy, trade, health, and tourism. Both sides remain firmly committed to expanding bilateral trade and investment, supported by a range of frameworks such as the Trade in Goods Agreement.
The frequent leadership level visits are a hallmark of the fraternal ties, and provide continuous impetus to further deepening of relations and enhanced people-to-people contacts.
