Protect yourself from scams and unauthorized portals

The Embassy of Pakistan, Ankara has become aware of multiple fraudulent websites and unauthorized portals that falsely claim to provide official services on behalf of our Mission.

Important Security Information

All consular and embassy services (including visa applications, attestation, passport services, and other consular assistance) are provided only through the Embassy's authorized online platforms and official channels. For all consular services please visit our Consular Services page or relevant services on our official website.
It has come to our attention that certain fraudulent websites are using fake setups to submit visa applications to Pakistan's online visa portal. These portals not only remain scams but may also be stealing important personal information. Therefore, it is advised to only use our official online visa services which can be accessed through our Visa Services page.
The Embassy of Pakistan, Ankara is not responsible for any application, fee, processing, or communication made through any website or portal other than those explicitly authorized by this Mission.
Any website or portal purporting to act on behalf of the Embassy that is not listed on our official website should be treated as a scam and must not be used under any circumstances.
Be cautious of websites that request payment through unconventional methods or personal financial information beyond what is required for official services.

Recent Fraud Patterns Identified

Websites with URLs similar to but not exactly matching our official domain
Third-party portals claiming "expedited processing" for additional fees
Unsolicited emails requesting personal information or payments
Social media accounts impersonating embassy officials

The Embassy has no other websites or formal associations with third-party sites that impersonate our Mission. Necessary legal and administrative action against such imposters is being initiated in coordination with Turkish authorities.

If you encounter a suspicious website, unsolicited message, or believe you are a target of fraud, please take the following steps immediately:

Immediate Actions

Report the incident via the Embassy's Complaint Portal located on the home page in Consular Services section.
Preserve any emails, screenshots, transaction records, or communications that may assist our investigation.
If you have shared financial information, contact your bank or credit card company immediately to secure your accounts.
For urgent matters, call the Embassy during business hours at +90 312 427 14 10.
