INSTRUCTIONS FOR ATTESATION OF DOCUMENTS |
Applicants seeking attestation of documents from the Embassy of Pakistan, Belgrade are requested to carefully read and comply with the following guidelines:
The Embassy will only counter-attest documents that have been duly attested by:

Attestation of Pakistani Documents
All documents issued in Pakistan i.e (affidavits, power of attorneys) and those issued by Pakistani authorities i.e (marriage certificate, birth certificate, educational documents, family certificate, etc) must be attested first from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or its Liaison Offices, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta, Pakistan (photo copies are not acceptable).
Attestation of Serbian Documents
All documents issued by the Serbian authorities (marriage registration certificate, birth registration certificate, etc) must be attested first from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia along-with their English translations.
Affidavit originating at Pakistan
The applicant must appear at the Embassy along with his/her all original passports and a recent photograph. The applicant has to arrange two witnesses along-with their original valid Pakistani passport.
Affidavit originating in Serbia
The applicant must appear at the Embassy along with his/her original passport and a recent photograph.
Note (if the passport(s) has (have) been lost, then readable photocopies must be provided. After verification of passports the case will be processed.
Power of Attorney by individuals
The applicant must appear at the Embassy along with his/her original passport and a recent photograph. The applicant has to arrange two witnesses along-with their original valid Pakistani passports.
Power of Attorney by Companies
The power of attorneys submitted by the various companies must be printed on the companies letterhead and attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Serbia along with the executants readable passport photocopy and an authorization letter in the name of submitter along with his/her Serbian I.D card.
Registration of Child
The child must be registered within six months of the date of birth. The birth certificate along with its English translation must be attested from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Serbia. Requisite supporting documents may be presented in original i.e.(child’s birth ertificate, parent’s passports, residence in Serbia, marriage certificate and a photograph of child). Parents, accompanied by the child, must appear in person at the Embassy.
Note:-
In case father or mother is living in Pakistan and cannot visit the Embassy, an authority letter is required which has to be attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan. If the mother or father is in any other country, the authority letter must be attested by the nearest Embassy/Consulate of Pakistan in that country.
It may be noted that if the purpose of birth registration of a child is getting his/her passport, the authority letter must mention that the parent has No Objection to registration and passport processing of the child by the other parent in Serbia.
Nikah Nama/Marriage Certificate:
If Nikah/Marriage is conducted in Serbia, Marriage Certificate must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Serbia along with its English translation. The bride and bridegroom must appear at the Embassy along with their original passports.
