Clarification of Media Reports
Referring to the news in sections of the media regarding closure of Embassies in Islamabad, the Spokesperson clarified that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has neither received nor issued any such advice.
Keeping with our responsibility to protect all diplomatic missions and personnel, the Government has directed security agencies to take necessary precautions for the security of the Diplomatic Missions in Islamabad.
The Embassies have also been advised to exercise caution while moving around in the city.
