“I was deeply saddened to hear the news of the passing away of Baroness Margaret Thatcher. With her passing away, Great Britain has lost a great leader and a stateswoman.

On behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan, I wish to express my deepest condolences to the Government and the people of Great Britain and share their grief.

We pray for her soul to rest in eternal peace and for her family and friends to bear their loss with strength and courage.
