Condolence Message on behalf of the President of Pakistan to the Chinese President

I am deeply saddened and grieved at the loss of precious lives and damage to property as a result of sever earthquake that struck Sichuan Province, today.

On behalf of the people and Government of Pakistan and on my own behalf I would like to convey our deep sympathies to the bereaved families and to the affectees of this calamity.

We are confident under your leadership the brave and resilient people of China will be able to overcome this disaster with courage and fortitude.

At this difficult time we stand by Your Excellency and the great Chinese people and extend our support and solidarity.
