Defence Attaches briefed on working of Foreign Ministry
Defence Attaches of over 20 countries, based in Islamabad, were briefed yesterday (26 March) on the functioning and role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Additional Secretary (Policy Planning) Syed Hasan Javed briefed the Defence Attaches and replied to the questions on the foreign policy of Pakistan raised by the participants. The Defence Attaches appreciated the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for conducting this briefing which they found very useful in understanding the functions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as the broad contours of the foreign policy of Pakistan.
