The Pakistan High Commission in Bangladesh has been actively engaged in public diplomacy to enhance people to people contacts.  One of the key initiatives included organizing 1^st Mian Sultan Khan Chess Tournament in February 2024, in collaboration with Chess Federation of Bangladesh, which attracted a large number of Bangladeshi Chess enthusiasts. Also, Arfa Karim Memorial Badminton Tournament was organised in May 2024.  A delegation of Bangladeshi journalists visited Pakistan in the same month.  Additionally, the High Commission often collaborates with local institutions for various philanthropic activities, such as inauguration of Arfa Karim Computer Lab at an orphanage in Dhaka and Sadequain Art Corner at SOS village in Sylhet.
