1. CHARACTER CERTIFICATE

Pakistan Embassy, Qatar issues charcter certificate to facilitate Pakistanis residing in Qatar in order to get their Police clearance certificate from local authorities. The local authorities do not issue police clearance certificate unless Charcter certificate is issued in favour of applicant by the Embassy of Pakistan, Qatar. Police clearance certificate is pre-requisite for securing jobs, registration as Engineers or doctors in Qatar and immigration purposes. The certificate is issued on same day.

Documents required

1. Duly filled Application form Annex-I)
2. copies of valid passport, CNIC/NICOP, QID,
3. contact letter or NOC from previous sponsor
4. two fresh pictures.
5. copies of valid passport, CNIC/NICOP and QID of two witnesses

Fees: 15 QAR

2. EMERGENCY TRAVEL DOCUMENT (ETD)/ OUTPASS
3. Illegal Stay / Lost passport

Documents Required

1. Written request from applicant
2. Copies of NICOP, Passport and QID of applicant
3. Two fresh photographs.
4. Police report

1. For New Born Baby (Emergency Travel)
2. Written request from both parents
3. Copy of Birth Certificate (Baby).
4. Copies of Passport, NICOP/CNIC and QID /Visa of Parents.
5. Copy of Marriage Certificate.
6. Two fresh photographs
7. Copy of CNIC/NICOP /Token of newborn baby

The respective ETD is issued in one day.

3. TRANSFER OF RESIDENCE CERTIFICATE

Embassy of Pakistan, Doha issues Transfer of Residence (TR) certificate to Pakistani nationals who are moving to Pakistan on permanent basis. TR is used by applicant on relaxation of tax on used household items. Following documents are required:

1. A written request from the applicant.
2. Copies of valid CNIC/NICOP, Passport and Qatar ID.
3. Termination letter from Company/Sponser.
4. Applicant must have minimum of 05 years service in Qatar.

The said certificate is issued on same day.

4. NOC IN CASE OF TRANSPORTATION OF BODY OF DECEASED TO PAKISTAN

Documents Required:

Upon submission of following documents, this Mission issued NOC for transportation of body of deceased to Pakistan

1. Original Passport of deceased.
2. Copy of QID/Visa and CNIC/NICOP of deceased.
3. Copy of Death Certificate issued by Public Health Department, Qatar.
4. Copy of Transfer of Dead Body Certificate issued by Ministry of Interior, Qatar
5. Copy of Notification of Death issued by Ministry of Public Health, Qatar
6. Copy of Passport & QID of Relative.

 In case of local burial all the aforementioned documents are required with the exception that burial authorization letter from Public Health Department, Qatar is needed instead of transfer of dead body certificate.

The respective NOC is issued on same day.

5. OVERSEAS PAKISTANI FOUNDATION MEMBERSHIP CARD

All Pakistani nationals residing in the State of Qatar can apply for OPF Membership card by submitting following documents in the Embassy of Pakistan, Doha.

1. Application Form
2. Copies of valid Passport, QID and CNIC/NICOP
3. Copy of Visa Protector stamp on passport
4. In case visa is not protected then applicant has to submit PKR 2000/- Bank Draft issued in favour of OPF from UBL Bank branch, Doha.

6. REMITTANCE CARD/ SOHNI DARTI REMITTANCE APP

Government of Pakistan has replaced the Remittance card (FERC) with digital Sohni dharti Remittance app. Through this app overseas Pakistanis can now avail benefits in the fields of Passports, PIA tickets, Car and mobile duty tax etc. The app can be downloaded from playstore or apple store. Question No 5: How Pakistanis can lodge their complaints of their issues in Pakistan?

Pakistani nationals residing in Qatar can lodge their complaints regarding matters of property disputes, illegal occupation etc in Pakistan by submitting following documents:

1. Written request from applicant.
2. Copies of valid Passport, QID and NICOP/CNIC of applicant
3. Contact Number (Qatar) and email address of applicant
4. Contact No. of focal person in Pakistan on behalf of applicant (if any)
5. Address, CNIC No. and contact No. of the person(s) against whom complaint is lodged (if any)

Pakistan Embassy, Qatar forwards the applicant for redressal of grievances to Overseas Pakistani Foundation, Islambad for appropriate action.

 

Question No 7: How Pakistani nationals residing in Qatar can protect their visa?

Embassy of Pakistan, Doha-Qatar also protects the visas of working Pakistanis in the State of Qatar upon provision of following documents in triplicate. The benefit of visa protection is the insurance of 01 Million Pakistani rupees which is given to family of applicant in case applicant dies or injured while performing job.
