Bilateral trade between Pakistan and Portugal has grown from USD 189 million in 2020 to USD 221 million in 2024. Balance of Trade remains in favour of Pakistan. Pakistan’s exports have grown from USD 173 million in 2020 to USD 201 million in 2024.
The exports from Pakistan mainly include textile, agricultural products, leather goods and surgical instruments. Imports from Portugal include metals, articles of metals, machinery, electrical appliances, chemical products etc.
Web Summit is one of the largest events in the IT sector held in Lisbon every year. Pakistan National booth was established by Pakistan Software Export Board and Trade Development Authority of Pakistan at the Web Summit 2025.
