Egyptian Ambassador calls on Foreign Minister

The Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Said Mohamed El Said Hindam, paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar today.

The Foreign Minister welcomed the Ambassador and assured him all possible assistance in the promotion of relations between Pakistan and Egypt. She said Pakistan attached great importance to its relations with Egypt and wanted to further strengthen the existing brotherly relations with Egypt. She added that democracy in the two countries provided a strong vehicle to further promote people-to-people contacts.

The Ambassador appreciated the help and assistance he had been receiving from the Government of Pakistan for promotion of relations between the two brotherly countries.

The two sides agreed to explore further avenues of bilateral cooperation, especially in the fields of trade and investment.
