Farewell Call by the Ambassador of Cuba on the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs

The outgoing Cuban Ambassador. Mr. Jesus Zenen Buergo Concepcion, paid a farewell call on the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs (SAPM), Syed Tariq Fatemi, today.

The Special Assistant appreciated the positive contribution of Ambassador Concepcion towards further strengthening of Pakistan-Cuba relations, during the course of his assignment. He wished the Cuban Ambassador success in his future endeavours and expressed hope that the Pakistan-Cuba relations will continue to follow a positive trajectory under his successor as well.

Ambassador Concepcion expressed satisfaction at the current level of political engagement between the two countries and conveyed his gratitude to the Government and people of Pakistan for extending cooperation during his fruitful stay in the country.
