Independence Day Celebrations in Zimbabwe
The flag hoisting ceremony on the occasion of 67th Independence Day of Pakistan was held at the chancery on the morning of 14th August, 2013.
A large number of Pakistanis from all walks of life, including office-bearers of Pakistan-Zimbabwe Friendship Association and officers of Pakistan Armed Forces on deputation in Zimbabwe attended the ceremony.
After the recitation of the Holy Quran, Ambassador of Pakistan to Zimbabwe, H.E. Mr. Asaf Khan performed the flag hoisting ceremony. The messages from the President & the Prime Minister of Pakistan were read out. The ceremony concluded with Dua for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan. At the end, light refreshments were served to the guests.
