Attestation of Documents Issued by Pakistani Authorities
Kindly note that all documents like Birth Certificates, Educational Degrees, Marriage Certificate, FRC, Income Certificates etc. that are issued by Pakistani authorities require prior attestation from Pakistan Foreign Office, Islamabad or one of its Camp Offices in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar or Quetta.
The Consulate attests and translates these documents into Italian language for further submission to the Italian authorities. Personal appearance of the applicant or his family member is mandatory. In case the applicant is not present, authority letter, attested from Foreign Office Islamabad will be required for submission of documents. The documents can be submitted from 0900 hrs to 1230 hrs Monday to Friday and are returned on the same day.
Kindly note that only original documents are attested. Copy of Passport/ CNIC and one set of photocopy of documents that require attestation needs to be attached at the time of submission of documents.

Power of Attorney
Applying Power of Attorney from Aboard
Kindly Note that you can now execute Power of Attorney from aboard Online through http://www.poa.nadra.gov.pk. Incase you wish to apply Power of Attorney through Consulate you should bring the Original Power of Attorney (with one copy) with your Valid CNIC/Passport and Italian Documents and 2 passport size pictures. A photocopy of the Passport/CNIC of the person nominated as Attorney in Pakistan is also required.
It is mandatory that the person executing power of attorney from aboard is present in front of the consular officer at the time attestation. Once attested from the Consulate, Power of Attorney requires to be re-attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or its Camp offices in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, or Quetta by the nominated attorney.
Power of Attorney From Pakistan:
For Power of Attorney issued from Pakistan, the nominated Attorney in Italy is required to come to the Consulate with Original Documents and one set of Photocopy and 2 Passport pictures along with Original Passport/CNIC and Italian Documents. The Power of Attorney needs to be attest by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or one of Its Camp Offices in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, or Quetta.
The Power of Attorney is attested at the same day.
Police Character Certificate
To apply for Police Character Certificate, a person is required to come in Person to the Consulate with the following documents:
After applying for the Police Character Certificate You can track its status from the following link: https://pkm.punjab.gov.pk/public/app/track,. Or alternately, you can also track the status of your application from the “Track Your Police Character Certificate” button at the Consulate’s Website.
Usually it takes 2 weeks after application for Police Character Certificate to be processed. Depending on the case, the time could vary.
Once you have received your Police Character Certificate, you can Translate and Attest the Police Character Certificate from the Consular Section of the Consulate after Payment of required fees.
Documents submitted for attestation and translation are returned on the same day.
Nulla Osta For transportation of Dead body

There is no fees charged by the Consulate for the issuance of Death Nulla Osta.

Nulla Osta for Marriage
For issuance of Nulla Osta for Marriage, presence of both prospective bride and groom with their identity documents (Passport, Residence Permit, Permessio Di Siggiorno) is required in the Consulate.
Documents Required for issuance of Nulla Osta for Marriage for citizen of Pakistan are as follows:
All of the above documents are required to be attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs Islamabad prior to submission at the Consulate for Issuance of Nulla Osta.
Incase of widow/widower Death Certificate attested by MOFA, and CNIC cancellation certificate issued by NADRA and attested by MOFA will be additionally required.
Incase of divocee , the Nulla Osta for Marriage will be issued after updataing of maritial status in NADRA record.
In case one of the applicant is Italian citizen, his or her unmarried certificate/ Divorce certificate issued by Commune and attested by Perfectura will be required.
In case one of the applicant is a third country national, his or her unmarried/divorced certificate is to be issued by their concerned national authority and attested by their Consulate or Embassy in Italy.
A fee of 10 Euro is charged by the Consulate for issuance of Nulla Osta for Marriage.
