Pakistan Condemns Cross Border Shelling from Afghanistan
On 15 November 2015, 5 rockets were fired from Afghanistan at Angoor Adda Check Post, South Waziristan. Military authorities of Afghanistan were immediately contacted to prevent further escalation of the situation.
Pakistan has conveyed to Afghan government our deep concern over these increasing instances of cross-border shelling from Afghanistan. These instances are direct threat to the common objective of peaceful co-existence between the two neighbouring countries. We have urged Afghanistan to take appropriate action to prevent these wanton incidents.
