Pakistan Food Festival

Pakistani Food Festival was organized at Hotel Marriott, Cairo where food was prepared by chefs, invited from Pakistan. Special costumes were procured from Pakistan for the waiters/waitresses to give Pakistani color to the festival, which continued for three days. The reception hall was decorated with traditional Pakistani handicrafts, while a documentary “Shining Pakistan” played on screen.

The Ambassador of Pakistan, H.E. Mushtaq Ali Shah, inaugurated the Food Festival at a reception, which was hosted in the honor of local dignitaries including high government officials, business men, media representatives and prominent community members. Speaking on the occasion, he said that spirit behind organizing the food festival was to introduce Pakistani cuisine into Egyptian food courts.
