Pakistan is one of the largest mango exporting country in the world where more than 250 varieties of mangoes are found each having their own unique fragrance and taste. The varieties of the mangoes like Chaunsa, Sindhri, Dasheri and Anwar Ratol are in great demand in the UAE markets.

In order to promote the Pakistani mangoes and showcase their varieties in the UAE, the Consulate General of Pakistan organized “Pakistan Mango Festival” from 11th to 13th July 2019 at Palazzo Versace Hotel, Dubai.

On the launch of the festival on 11th July, the diplomats, higher government officials, leading businessmen, importers and retailers attended the event. On the occasion, H.E. Ahmed Amjad Ali, Consul General of Pakistan inaugurated the festival and welcomed the guests.

A large number of public turned up to attend the mango festival and enjoyed the taste of delicious mangoes and a number of products and cuisines prepared from these mangoes.

The second and third days were opened for general public to get familiar with some of Pakistani’s finest varieties of mango for the first time in the UAE.

The event has been widely covered by local and international media.
