Pakistan rejects comments made by the Spokesperson of Afghan Ministry of Interior

In a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, the Afghan Ambassador was told that the comments of Mr. Sediq Sediqi, a spokesman of the Afghan Ministry of Interior as published recently in a media article were unacceptable and against the spirit of brotherly relations between the two countries. It was further conveyed that such baseless remarks had the potential of adversely affecting bilateral relations. Ambassador Daudzai clarified that the remarks attributed to Sediq Sediqi were against the official policy of the Afghan government and assured that the matter would be looked into.
