The 77^thIndependence Day of Pakistan was celebrated on 14^th August, 2023 at the Embassy of Pakistan, Belgrade. The event started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the hoisting of Pakistani flag by Ambassador of Pakistan to the Republic of Serbia Mr. Ali Haider Altaf. National Anthem was played and followed by messages of the President and Prime Minister were read out to the audience by Ambassador Mr. Ali Haider Altaf.

Speaking on the occasion Ambassador conveyed his heartiest congratulations to the fellow Pakistanis, especially those residing in Serbia on the 77^thIndependence Day of Pakistan.

The ceremony was attended by the members of the Pakistani community residing in Serbia and some Serbian nationals. At the end of the ceremony, audience was served with refreshments and Pakistani cuisine.
