After Dhaka, the Pakistan Education Expo was held today at the University of Chittagong. More than 600 students visited the stalls of participating Pakistani universities to explore admission options, academic programs, and scholarship opportunities.
The Expo was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Chittagong, Dr. Muhammad Yeahia Akhter, and Pakistan’s Deputy High Commissioner, Muhammad Wasif. Faculty members, local media representatives, and a large number of students attended the event.
The Education Expo is part of the Pakistan–Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor, under which Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, during his visit to Bangladesh in August, announced 500 Allama Muhammad Iqbal scholarships for Bangladeshi students to pursue higher studies at Pakistan’s top-ranked educational institutions.
