Ambassador Saima Sayed visited Republic of Guinea from Oct 23-26,2023 at the invitation of the President of Guinea to present her credentials as Ambassador of Pakistan to Guinea. Ambassador Sayed is concurrently accredited to Guinea in addition to Senegal.
Before the ceremony Ambassador Sayed called on the Foreign Minister of Guinea Dr. Morissanda Kouyate and presented copies of her credentials. They discussed means for enhancing bilateral cooperation and finalizing pending MoUs in different sectors.
She presented her credentials to the President of the Republic of Guinea, Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya in a formal ceremony at the Presidential Palace. She highlighted the importance of strengthening bilateral ties and promoting trade engagement. President Doumbouya introduced her to his cabinet members and wished her success for her tenure as Ambassador to Guinea.
During her stay in Guinea, Ambassador Sayed visited the Chambers of Commerce and met Mr. Aliou Cherif, President Regional Chamber of Commerce of Conakry &other businessmen. They discussed enhancing trade engagement and participation in trade fairs in Pakistan.
Ambassador Sayed visited the office of newly appointed Honorary Consul of Pakistan in Guinea, Mr. Daouda Kaba and presented him his Consular Commission. Mr Kaba is a well-known & respected Guinean businessman & committed to promote trade exchanges between both countries.
Wrapping up her visit to Guinea, Ambassador Sayed met Pakistanis living in Guinea. Pakistani community there includes businessmen, labourers, entrepreneurs &employees of MNCs. Ambassador reassured all of her support & easy access to Pakistan Embassy and her team.
