An “Islamic Banking and Digital Revolution†seminar was held at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF). The Event was jointly hosted by the Bahrain Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) Bahrain, and the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF). Ambassador Muhammad Ayub attended the event as a guest of honour. In his remarks, the Ambassador highlighted the salient features of Islamic banking and its emergence as a promising segment of the global economy. He applauded the crucial role of Islamic banking experts, in general, and Islamic banking experts from Pakistan, specifically, for their contributions to promoting Islamic banking in the GCC and globally. He also underscored the recent efforts of the government of Pakistan to establish investment linkages with the GCC countries. The seminar provided a valuable platform for discussing the intersection of Islamic finance and digital advancements.
