The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), vide its letter dated 18
November 2025, has informed that the services of Mr. Muhammad Shehryar
Khan and Mr. Federico Arata as Honorary Investment Counsellors (HICs) in Italy
have formally concluded upon completion of their respective tenures, with
immediate effect.
In this regard, the Embassy invites expressions of interest from eligible members
of the Pakistani diaspora in Italy for nomination to the positions of Honorary
Investment Counsellor.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a permanent resident of Italy.
- Should possess a strong professional and business background.
- Demonstrated experience in trade, investment, or related sectors.
- Effective linkages with Italian chambers of commerce, industry
- associations, and business networks.
- Strong motivation and capacity to promote Pakistan-Italy investment
- cooperation.
Eligible individuals are requested to share their detailed credentials/CV with the
The Embassy will review all submissions, prepare a list of shortlisted candidates,
and forward it to the Board of Investment (BOI), Government of Pakistan, which
will conduct the final interviews and selection in coordination with SIFC.
