Character Certificate

• Requirements:

o    Personal Appearance

o    Original Passport and CNIC

o    Photocopies of the above documents

Procedure:

o    Applicants of Punjab and Capital territory can apply for Character Certificate through online portal at Consular Section of the Embassy, whereas cases for rest of the provinces and regions are processed manually

o    A two-weeks’ time is required before the digital Character Certificate is received by the Embassy which is printed and signed

Birth Registration

S-1 form is issued for Birth Registration at the Embassy

Requirements for S-1 Form:

• Personal Appearance
• Original Passport and CNIC
• Birth certificate
• Photocopies of the above documents

Attestation:

• Original Birth Certificate/Marriage Certificate (MRC) attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad
• Extract of Birth Certificate can be made on the basis of Original Document

Marriage NoC

Following documents are required for Marriage Nulla Osta:

1. Unmarried Certificate

2. Police Character certificate

3. Birth Certificate

4. Parents’ Permission on affidavit for marriage

5. One picture of the applicant and passport copy

All documents must be attested from MoFA Pakistan

Power of Attorney

Requirements:

• Attestation of documents such as Power of Attorney, Special Power of Attorney, and Authority Letter should be signed by the executants personally in front of the Consular Officer.
• The documents must be signed by two Pakistani resident witnesses (preferably CNIC signatures).
• The executants must have original and photocopies of their documents:

o    Documents – Original and Copy duly signed by Witnesses (preferably typed in English or Urdu and must contain Name, CNIC, Address details of the attorney (to whom the power of attorney is given)

o    Passport, CNIC/NICOP, or smart card in Original and its back-to-back copies

o    Copies of Witness CNIC/NICOP or Smart Card.

o    02 passport size photograph of the executant (person giving the Power of Attorney)

• For attestation of documents originating in Pakistan, attestation by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or its Camp Offices in Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, or Peshawar is a pre-requisite

Digital Power of Attorney

The residents of Italy, Albania, Slovenia and San Marino who cannot travel to Embassy for the purpose of Power of Attorney may use this online service for attestation of Power of Attorney.
