As part of the Independence Day of Pakistan celebrations, the Embassy hosted a Biryani Festival and organized a friendly cricket tournament on 24 August 2025 at the Agora Ground, Port Bouet in Abidjan in coordination with Pakistani Community living in Abidjan and Ivorian Cricket Federation. Officials of Ivorian Cricket Federation also attended the event. 

Total four teams comprising of 01 Ivorian Cricket team (IVC Cricket Club), 01 Bangladeshi Community Cricket team (Bangla Tigers), and 02 Pakistani Community members teams (Pak Sultans & Shinning Stars) participated in the tournament. Shinning Star won the title while Bangla Tigers stood runner up. Ambassador Mahmood Akhtar Mahmood presented trophies to the winning team, runner up team, winning teams of each matches, batter and bowler of the tournament. Appreciation Certificates were also given to the Players, Officials of Ivorian Cricket Federation and event organizers.
