The Embassy is pleased to announce the designation of Mr. Federico Arata as Honorary Investment Counsellor (HIC) for Italy based in Rome. Mr. Arata’s appointment has been recently notified by Board of Investment (BoI), Prime Minister’s Office, Islamabad. Additionally, BoI has notified the termination of appointment of Mr. Mushtaq Bajwa as HIC based in Milan.

Mr. Arata’s credentials in business finance as well as his expertise and experience related to investment are expected to positively contribute to enhance Pak-Italy investment portfolio.

He has been to Pakistan on various occasions in the past and is well acquainted with the country’s investment policy, characterized as one of friendliest, as well as, the vast spectrum of attractive investment opportunities for Italian investments in, but not limited to , Energy & Agriculture Sectors.

Mr. Arata also participated as an ‘inspirational speaker’ at the inaugural session of the ‘Civil Societies Dialogue’ under ‘Pak-Italy Friendship Forum’ launched by Ambassador of Pakistan on February 5 last year. He shared personal experiences with Pakistan’s globally renowned credentials in hospitality, cuisine, culture and tourism.

Embassy welcomes Federico Arata as its latest team-member and looks forward to working with him closely toward creating a positive impact from his contributions to the Pak-Italy investment landscape.
