National Day of Pakistan was celebrated on 23^rd March, 2023 at the Embassy of Pakistan in Belgrade. A simple yet elegant flag hosting ceremony was held at Chancery. The event started with recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by national anthem and the hoisting of national flag by Ms. Nadia Rauf, Chargé d’Affaires (a.i.). National Anthem was played and Messages of the President and Prime Minister were read out to the audience.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chargé d’Affaires (a.i.). congratulated Pakistanis all over the world and especially in Serbia on the National Day of Pakistan.

Ms. Nadia Rauf, Chargé d’Affaires (a.i.).highlighted the importance of this day as the day signifies a milestone in history of Pakistan; when the Muslims of the Subcontinent decided to focus all their energies on the realization of the dream of Allama Iqbal for a separate homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent.

The ceremony was attended by officials and the members of the Pakistani community.
