The Embassy of Pakistan in Abidjan organized a first-ever reception at local hotel to celebrate the 85^th National Day of Pakistan on 17 April 2025. The event brought together a distinguished gathering, including members of the Diplomatic Corps, Ivorian dignitaries, government officials, business leaders, civil society representatives, friends of Pakistan, and members of the Pakistani diaspora in Cote d’Ivoire. 

His Excellency Mr. KACOU HOUAJA ​​LÉON ADOM, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Ivorians Abroad of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

His Excellency Mr. KACOU HOUAJA ​​LÉON ADOM extended warm felicitations from the government and people of Cote d’Ivoire to Pakistan’s leadership and citizens. He commended the friendship between the two nations and called for enhanced cooperation across diverse fields, including trade, culture, and people-to-people exchanges, to further intensify bilateral relations. 

On the sidelines of the reception a special corner exhibiting the landscape and historical places of Pakistan was arranged. The cultural items showing rich and vibrant colours of Pakistan were also displayed on the occasion. A delicious dinner buffet with Pakistani cuisines were served to the guests.

The reception concluded on a cordial and optimistic note, reaffirming the shared vision of both nations to deepen collaboration and foster lasting ties in the years ahead.
