Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal, during his official visit to attend Bangladesh’s Prime Minister-Elect’s oath-taking ceremony, held a cordial and constructive meeting with Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus.
Representing the Prime Minister of Pakistan, he conveyed heartfelt congratulations on the successful elections and democratic transition, and extended the Prime Minister’s invitation to the Bangladeshi leadership to visit Pakistan.
Both sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations through expanded trade, improved connectivity, academic collaboration, and stronger people-to-people ties.
The Minister also praised Professor Yunus’s global development contributions and highlighted scholarship opportunities for Bangladeshi students already studying in Pakistani universities.
He emphasized that shared history and cultural bonds must now translate into practical partnerships that advance regional cooperation and collective prosperity.
