The Embassy of Pakistan in Abidjan commemorated the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq in the Embassy this afternoon. Special messages of the President, the Prime Minister were read out. Special documentaries on Marka e Haq as well as 150th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah were also displayed for the audience.
In his address, Ambassador Mahmood Akhtar Mahmood paid homage to our brave armed forces who valiantly defended the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan against unprovoked Indian aggression last year. The Ambassador also applauded the traditional valor, sacrifices, and unwavering resolve and dedication of Pakistan’s defenders and martyrs. The Ambassador also emphasized that with unity and discipline we can overcome any challenge and defeat our enemies. He also highlighted India’s belligerent acts and atrocities in the region and Pakistan’s unwavering resolution to stand against all these odds to protect its sovereignty.
The Embassy also organized a digital pictorial exhibition highlighting Pakistani national resolve during the successful Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos last year. Special prayers for the country and its valiant armed forces were also offered. There was special interactive session in the end with Ivorian participants on the Indian aggression and unilateral withdrawal from Indus Waters Treaty. Audiences paid homage to Pakistani martyrs and applauded role of Pakistan in recent peace efforts in West Asia.
