High Commissioner Imran Haider called on H.E. Mr. Mohammed Amin Ur Rashid, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Livestock. He congratulated the Honourable Minister on assuming office and gave him an overview of bilateral relations
The two sides discussed opportunities of cooperation in agriculture, livestock and fisheries sectors including technical assistance in introducing high-yield sugarcane varieties, mechanisation of agriculture sector , cross breeding of local cattle and cooperation in utilisation of deep sea resources.
Exchange programmes between research centers, agricultural and veterinary institutes of Pakistan and Bangladesh also came under discussion.
