High Commissioner Mr. Imran Haider called on H.E. Md. Touhid Hossain, Hon’ble Adviser on Foreign Affairs, today. The Adviser welcomed the High Commissioner and noted that Bangladesh and Pakistan enjoy friendly relations. He observed that a number of recent developments, including high-level exchanges and meetings of institutional mechanisms, have created a positive momentum which should be sustained.
The High Commissioner briefed the Hon’ble Adviser on the positive trajectory of bilateral relations, including the rise in trade, people-to-people contacts, and cultural exchanges. Both sides agreed to further enhance ongoing cooperation across all areas of mutual interest.
