Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Mohsin Naqvi met Bangladesh State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaid Islam in Dhaka. During the meeting, both sides held detailed discussions on bilateral relations, the regional situation, and Pakistan’s reconciliatory role.
The Bangladesh State Minister for Foreign Affairs appreciated Pakistan’s reconciliatory efforts aimed at resolving the Iran-US conflict. Both sides agreed to enhance cooperation in the fields of trade, business, and culture. It was also agreed to increase the exchange of bilateral delegations to further strengthen trade and cultural ties.
The meeting also included discussions regarding the upcoming visit of the Bangladeshi Foreign Minister to Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan offers vast opportunities for investment.
Bangladesh Foreign Ministry Secretary Mohammad Nazrul Islam, Director General South Asia Ishrat Jahan, Director Shamima Yasmin, and Pakistani High Commissioner Imran Haider were also present during the meeting.
