he Embassy of Pakistan in Belgrade hosted the National Day Reception at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Belgrade on the eve of 23rd March, 2017. The reception was attended by a large number of people hailing from the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Ambassadors, and members of diplomatic community, think tanks, media representatives, members of private sector, important businessmen and representatives of multinational companies based in Serbia. The salient feature of the reception was the cutting of ceremonial cake by Ambassador Syed Adil Gilani while the Pakistani community members joined the Ambassador in singing Jeevay jeevay Pakistan song, which was highly appreciated by the audience. Chage d'affaires Modasar Chaudhry in his the speech, highlighted Government's resolve on increasing peace and prosperity and bolstering of Pakistan-Serbia bilateral relations. The audience was also served with traditional Pakistani cuisine while media presentations depicting Pakistan's society, culture, economic development and diplomatic feats were also played.
