Pakistan and friendly Republic of Albania have signed MoU for establishing Bilateral Political Consultations (BPC) between their Ministries of Foreign Affairs, here in Rome, yesterday.

The MoU formalises existing excellent bilateral cooperation and exchanges between Ministries of Foreign Affairs and intensifies coordination between their multilateral Missions at New York and Geneva.

The MoU foresees a wide spectrum framework for exchange of views over regional and international matters of mutual interest and concern as well as coordination of positions at multilateral platforms.  

Pakistan enjoys traditionally excellent, trust-based cooperation and exchanges with Albania. The MoU shall serve in advancing bilateral ties in their depth and dimension, to the mutual gains of both friendly States.

The Accord was signed by Ambassador of Albania to Rome H.E. Anila Bitri Lani whereas Ambassador Ali Javed signed it on behalf of Pakistan.
