The Embassy of Pakistan organized a seminar titled “Importance of Int. Law in Maintaining Regional Peace & Security” to mark Youm-e-Istehsal on 5 August. The seminar featured speakers including Professors from the Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon, and Prof. João Henriques of the World Islamic Observatory. The session was moderated by Soraia Ramos, Journalist at RTP.
Ambassador Aisha Farooqi highlighted: “South Asia is held back by obduracy of India. Root cause of instability in SA is non resolution of IIOJK. India is weaponsizing water resources by holding Indus Waters Treaty in abeyance.”
