Embassy is most pleased to announce revival of NADRA counter at Rome where full spectrum of NADRA Services is now available for esteemed Pakistani community, in accordance with the announcement made by Ambassador on occasion of Award Ceremony presided over by Advisor to Prime Minister for PMO, Hon'ble Dr. Syed Tauqir Hussain Shah on Oct 15, 2025.

NADRA Services were relaunched at Milan on Sep 18, 2025 by visiting Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhary Salik Hussain. He also inaugurated new premises for Consulate General in Milan replacing outdated building with brand new, purpose-built facility offering dignified services at a prestigious locality.

Embassy notes with greatest satisfaction that the long-outstanding demand of Pakistani community across Italy now stands fulfilled. NADRA services remained discontinued for an unfortunate gap of 6 years. Embassy appreciates support extended by Chairman NADRA for reinitiation of services from Italy.

Restoration of NADRA services marks fulfilment of another key commitment by the Ambassador and reflects Embassy’s resolve to extend state-of-art, dignified, efficient and transparent consular services as a tangible demonstration of its sincere pledge to serve the community.

In a latest initiative, Embassy has installed customised, touch-screen vending machines offering select options at subsidized rates with hard & soft payment options. Designated service windows & seating for female visitors are already established with separate mineral water stations to go along with option for wudu & prayers. To facilitate Pakistani Community, FIA Liaison Office is already established in Milan and Community Welfare Wing re-activated.

Upcoming facilities include automated multi-lingual, multi-screen Q-Matic token system, state-of-art photocopier and photo-booth as well as new washrooms for women with adequate facility of infants.

On behalf of Ambassador Ali Javed and all members of Mission, the Embassy lauds Pakistani community in Italy for record breaking $1.3Bn remittances in 2025, up four times in 5 years period from the $361mn remitted in 2021.
