The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan ( ICAP ) and the Bahrain Chapter of ICAP Members conducted a hybrid event on “Islamic Banking & Digital Revolution” on Saturday 23rd July 2022 at the BIBF Bahrain Bay Campus in partnership with Accounting & Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions , Thebibf and TAIF Digital Institute for Islamic Finance . The event was attended by many dignitaries including H.E. Muhammad Ayub (Ambassador of Pakistan to Bahrain), Mr. Ashfaq Tola (President of the ICAP) Ms. Hina Usmani (Chair Overseas Chapters Committee of ICAP), Mr. Noor Ur Rehman Abid (Former Managing Partner– the Middle East, Ernst & Young and member of AAOIFI Board of Trustees) Mr. Omar Mustafa Ansari (Secretary General of AAOIFI) and Engr. Rehan Ahmed Chairman of Pakistan Club Bahrain. The event received registration of more than 900 global attendees virtually, while more than 100 stakeholders joined physically. Through the tireless efforts of the Managing Committee of the Bahrain Chapter of ICAP, the event has not only strengthened the CA community in the region but also has marked its presence as the standard bearers of professionalism.
