Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi Expresses Solidarity with Government and People of Nepal over recent floods
(2017-09-21) In the wake of recent floods in Nepal that have caused huge loss of lives and property, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in his meeting with the Prime Minister of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba on the sidelines of 72nd UN General Assembly Session in New York, expressed solidarity with the government and people of Nepal. The Prime Minister said that Pakistan is providing financial assistance to Nepal to address the impact of the natural disaster. Earlier, the Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif offered condolences to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal, Krishna Bahadur Mahara as well as to the bereaved families.
