Machine Readable Passports (MRPs) are issued in conformity with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards. Ever since the installation of the Machine-Readable Passport (MRP) facility at the Embassy of Pakistan, Rome, the issuance of manual passports has been stopped.
No extension of Expired Passports is carried out.
Pakistani diaspora living in Italy, Albania, Slovenia and San Marino can get MRP services from the Embassy of Pakistan in Rome as well as Consulate General of Pakistan in Milan.
All Pakistanis’ emergency or lost cases are also handled on a case-by-case basis with the best facilitation method available.
For passport processing, bring original documents (CNIC, NICOP, Residence Permit) alongwith photocopies.
