Diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Poland were established on 17th December 1962 and Pakistan opened its Embassy in Warsaw in 1969. The bilateral relations have made strong progress particularly in the last 20 years and now cover multiple areas including political, economic, defence and education. After the introduction of e-visa facility by Pakistan, the number of tourists from Poland to Pakistan has significantly increased. Today our bilateral relations are marked by cordiality and friendship.

Pakistani Community
There are over 1400 Pakistanis living in Poland. Around 350 of them are students, a few professionals working in multinational companies and banks, and some are running small businesses of their own.
