Punjab Traffic Police started online renewal of driving license facility to facilitate the Overseas Pakistanis. This can be availed from official website www.dlims.punjab.gov.pk and same facility is available at Punjab Police Pakistan App. The process of renewal of driving license is as under:-

• The applicant will;

1. Login at dlims.punjab.gov.pk or Punjab Police Pakistan App.
2. Register himself/herself
3. Go to License tab and then select Renewal option in regular license menu.
4. Enter his license details and upload a picture (white background), existing License (front, back), CNIC (front, back).
5. Pay driving license fee through PSID (electronically)
6. Submit the application online.

Online Renewal of Driving License (only for residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa):

• The applicant will submit the following documents to the concerned embassy:

1. Scanned copy of passport, CNIC and expired diving license (expiry should not exceed three years).
2. Latest medical fitness certificate attested by the registered medical practitioner of the concerned country.
3. Nominee information for government fee submission and license collection.

The Embassy will send the above scanned documents of the applicant from the Embassy’s official email to the official email address of Office of the Inspector General of Police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa i.e. (ctopeshawar@ptpkp.gov.pk). After verification of all documents and record, the driving license will be renewed and will be handed over the applicant’s nominated representative upon submission of government dues.
