Professional training linkages

Both countries have developed robust professional training linkages and participate in joint training courses in the fields of defence, diplomacy, banking, and railways.

In 2018, a Vietnamese bank official attended 45^th International Commercial Banking Course in February-March 2018 at NIBAF, Islamabad.

Three diplomats from Vietnam participated in the first ever Short Diplomatic Course for ASEAN Diplomats organized by Foreign Service Academy from 19th to 28th September 2022.

Six diplomats from Vietnam participated in the in the second Short Diplomatic Course for ASEAN countries organized by the Foreign Service Academy of Pakistan from 12-21 September 2023.

Six representatives from State Bank of Vietnam participated in training course titled “Digital Payments Landscape and Financial inclusion in Emerging Markets” organized by the National Institute of Banking and Finance, State Bank of Pakistan for ASEAN members states from 8-12 May 2023 at Islamabad.
