To celebrate completion of 50 years of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Vietnam, the Mission held several activities throughout the year 2022. The main event planned to mark the golden jubilee was “International Conference on 50 Years of Vietnam-Pakistan Diplomatic Relations”, which was organized on 08 November 2022.
The Mission organized a 3-day Contemporary Art Exhibition “Maya” by Pakistani Artist “Ms. Masooma Syed” at the University of Industrial Fine Art from 28-30 June 2022. The exhibition was inaugurated by Nguyen Truong Giang, Chairman of Vietnam-Pakistan Friendship Parliamentarians Group. Overall, the inauguration ceremony was attended by around 200 guests including 7 ambassadors, members of diplomatic corps and a large number of faculty members and students at the university.
Due to Mission’s efforts, VTV aired documentaries titled “Chilam Joshi” and “Music in the Mountains” in June 2022 to enlighten the Vietnamese people about Pakistan’s cultural heritage.
