Answer: Kindly visit https://visa.nadra.gov.pk to apply online visa. Please fill in all the fields of the application form, even if it is not mandatory. Providing current residence address and phone number is a must. If there is any technical problem with application or payment, directly contact NADRA by clicking on their Contact us option. Please carefully choose the correct category (Family Visit Visa, Tourism/Visit Visa, Business Visa etc.) from the online visa portal to avoid unnecessary delays and inconvenience. Carefully choose the consular jurisdiction (Pakistan Embassy) before applying visa online.
Important: Applicants must plan travel only upon receipt of a valid visa. Additionally, it is important to note that “family visit” category is only for spouse and children of Pakistani Nationals.
Q: What is processing time for e-visa?
Answer: The processing time for each category will start when an application is lodged after completion of attaching required documents. If the application is sent back for Review to the Applicant, the set processing time will re-start from the date of re-submission or completion of the application.

Q: I made a mistake in the name/date of birth/Passport number, can I correct it?
Answer: Please make sure that before submitting your application, your name, date of birth and Passport number is the same as written on your Passport. It is applicant’s responsibility to make sure the particulars are correct and match Passport. If the application comes back to you for review in case your application is incomplete and some additional documents or requirements need to be fulfilled, then you have the chance to check your particulars carefully again, that is, name, date of birth and Passport number etc. However, incorrect father name cannot be corrected. In such case, visa is rejected and fresh application needs to be submitted.
Important: Once the visa is issued, it cannot be corrected later, and the applicant has to re-apply for a fresh visa with new fees.
Q: I want to apply for e-visa, what should I write/select for “type of Passport”?
Answer: All common people and citizens of a country have ordinary Passports; and should write/select passport type as “ordinary”.
However, diplomatic/Official and UNLP passports are with special categories of people who are working as diplomat at Foreign Embassies/Consulate General/United Nation Organization and High Ranking Officials like Presidents, Prime Ministers, Governors, Ministers, Members of Parliament, Senators etc.
Important: In case of selecting wrong passport type, it cannot be changed, and applicant will have to re-submit fresh visa application. Therefore, please be careful with the selection of options and revise application thoroughly before submission.

Q: I want to apply e-visa for a child, which documents are required?

Answer: No, a Visa Grant Notice is automatically computer generated on the basis of information given and typed by the applicant. Once the Visa Grant Notice is issued, it can neither be changed nor corrected. Only an applicant can make corrections and edition either during the submission of an application or review process in the following three areas:
